Rien à voir avec les mesures contre le Covid ?
Definitely not, there were no other Covid restrictions at the ski area. There are a few reasons I can think of that might be the cause. Perhaps like the old North Ridge triple at Killington, people are heavier now than in 1972 and the motor was having to work too hard (Killington simply removed some chairs from the line). Also, the chairs do seem more narrow than modern standards, and again people are bigger, so perhaps there were too many misloads with three passengers. If not that, then perhaps there was some other mechanical reason related to the old age. Perhaps it was only load tested and approved to carry two passengers per chair.
