Update on gondola lift construction at Arhyz resort.



Section 1 of Poma TCD10 is completed awaiting for main power for comissioning.
This is probably the world's shortest detachable gondola (at 255 m) with only one aim to move people across the river within a village.
It also creates an access to Sections 2 and 3 of the gondola with a total lenght of 3547 m that will be ready by this December.

Hola Rodo, también tenia un poco de curiosidad y les pregunte directamente a ellos en su pagina de facebook; donde nos confirman operación de los 2 Teleféricos y el uso de la nueva linea Bambusario tiene un costo de $ 16.000 pesos colombianos.

La nouvelle TCD10 Leitner de Schönau am Königssee (Allemagne) a ouvert (1er tronçon pour le moment) . Le second tronçon a son câble de tiré. De nombreuses photos et vidéos vont dispos sur la page Facebook relative à la TC (elle s'appelle Jennerbahn am Königssee).

Par contre je ne comprends pas trop leur calendrier : le chantier a commencé l'été dernier, s'est poursuivi tout l'hiver pour une ouverture début août, soit. Mais comment le domaine a pu ouvrir cet hiver sachant que le Jennerbahn est la colonne vertébrale du domaine ? Sur certaines vidéos on voit que la TC est secondée par un autre appareil Leitner. Ils évoquent plus bas la construction du Jennerwiesenbahn aussi... autre accès au domaine ? Si quelqu'un a la réponse Ça m'intéresse

le domaine du konigsee été entierement fermé l'hiver dernier...c'était annoncé depuis juin 2017...

J'ai eu l'occasion de passer cette fin juillet par la superbe vallée d'Arkhyz et la station de Romantik. Les travaux d'aménagement du versant nord sont vraiment impressionnants (que de terrassements !) et marquent une étape essentielle dans le développement des différentes stations d'Arkhyz. La vallée a un potentiel vraiment important tant pour les sports d'hiver que pour les activités estivales.

Interesting enough, this installation has been done by a local company Snowprom which acts as BMF dealer in Russia but often works with other brands (Poma in Veduchi, Tatralift in Perm etc.). They installed BMG telemix in Moscow which is currently waiting for official approval before operation (and there is a lot of problems with paperwork and permits).
The same Russian guys are involved this summer in an installation of BMF gondola in Kish, Iran - here are some photos:

In Kazakhstan there is another installation of second-hand Doppelmayr detachable quad chairlift with bubbles to open ski area called Karalma. Locals claim that the lenght is close to 2,5 km:

If we look close to the tower circle diameter, it seems that they have used the smallest cable gauge. This means that with the small wind cable car should be stopped cause there will be danger that the gondolas hit the circle.

Tajikistan will build its second gondola this year:
Two years ago they opened the first ski area in the country (Safed Dara) with a brand new Doppelmayr gondola (built by Doppelmayr Russia):

This time it will be an urban gondola in Khudjand city and according to info shown at groundbreaking ceremony for construction it's a fixed-grip gondola with small 4-seater cabins (47 pcs.), probably of some Chinese origin.
With a lenght 1050 m it will connect cultural attractions across the river in Khudjand downtown and should be commissioned this year.

News from Russia:

This week one of the urban ropeway projects has been approved by the government as a priority project to be funded through international BRICS bank.
This lift will be located in Tutaev (some 300 km northeast of Moscow), a historical town considered a part of 'Golden ring' roads of old Russian towns.
It's divided by Volga river in two parts without any bridges.





The project is supposed to cost around EUR 9m for MGD8 according to the officials and here is comprehensive feasibility study with plenty of technical information (lift profile etc.) and estimates put together by Doppelmayr for this project.

The specs are the following:

Horizontal lenght - 1294 m
Elevation difference - 7,5 m
Gauge - 5,2 m
Line speed - 5 m/s
Capacity - 1000 pph (initial - 500 pph)
22 gondolas (initial - 14 gondolas at 4 m/s)

The contract between the bank and Russian Federation is supposed to be signed in October after which detailed design and construction may start.

Another news for Russia is an approval of financing for a CLD4B lift to be built in 2019 at Obzornaya hill ski area in Arsenyev in Russian Far East (150 km from Vladivostok) as a replacement for a Doppelmayr T-bar (1700 m in lenght) that locals were dreaming about for last 10 years.
Again this project was initiated with the involvment of Doppelmayr and most likely they will win a tender as everywhere else in Russian Far East where they are very strong (Sakhalin - 3 detachable lifts were built, one is under construction, two more gondolas are in detailed design phase; Kamchatka - T-bar is under construction, a gondola has been designed for next year, Komsomolsk-on-Amur - a gondola under construction etc.)
