Bonjour,
Je ne parle français excusez-moi.
First of all congratulations for you forum, it's really amazing and I found a lot of information for my university end task.
I,m from Spain, i'm studying Industrial enginiering and i'm making my end carreer task about cable transport.
I have a question wich I can't found on internet and maybe you can help me. It's very important because I really need them to pass my task.
Do you know who are the chairlifts certifiers?
I found Tüv certify some installations of Doppelmayr but i don't know if they are all of them. Do you know with who work Leitner-Poma to certify their chairlifts?
Thank you for all, I be waiting for your knews because it's essential for me.
Thank you so much!
Greetings Laura

Hi Laura,
Be welcome on RM.net ! That's great to exchange here in English
Before replying, what do you mean exactly by chairlift certifiers, certification of what ? Just to be sure.
In France, there is a state technical agency, attached to the ministry of transports : the STRMTG, Service Technique des Remontées Mécaniques et Transports Guidés (which could be translated by "technical service of ropeways and guided transports"). Here is their english website : http://www.strmtg.eq...ent.gouv.fr/en/ You can find many informations.
To operate a ropeway, you need the agreement from the STRMTG. And to obtain the agreement from the STRMTG... you have to respect all rules relevant to your ropeway (big job !).
All ropeways, from any manufacturer (Poma, Leitner, Doppelmayr...) are concerned.
Hoping I could help you. If you have any question, do not hesitate.

hi Métabief
First of all thank you for your fast answer. I'm going to see all the web page looking to some aspects.
When I say chairlifts certifies, I mean if anybody know what enterprise do the security proves and say that the chairlift meets all safety standarts. For example In many building elevarors maybe the security certifier can be TÜV or BUREAU-VERITAS. This enterprises make all the security proves for the elevator and say that this it's safety. I want to know wich enterprise do that with DOPPELMAYR and LEITNER-POMA.
In my project I want to install some pieces on the chairs of the chairlift and It must pass the security proves that the law require. And wich enterprise it's better than the enterprise that made that security proves to the chairlift.
I hope you can help my I can't found it!
Thanks for all!
