No construction started yet.
Panorama poroject slowly under construction, while hotels and recreational centers are not yer fully ready so they are not in a hurry with a ropeway.
But three of them will open next year for sure.

No construction started yet.

But three of them will open next year for sure.

Thanks for the update. When they are ready there should be another good reason for me to visit Tbilisi again)

By the way I found some information about rehabilitation of a cable car to observatory in Abastumani - should be completed this year according to the news.
Here is the tender docs.

There is some detailed information about the location, bottom station, top station and even the line calcs in the updated design.
It's interesting that they list for reference old Soviet norms for erection of cable cars.

En fait il faut modifier le projet qui est déjà dans la liste sous TSD6B et ce serait plutôt des cabines de 8 places selon la page FB et non 10.

En relisant le Montagne Leaders de mars/avril 2018, j'ai lu que Sigma devait livrer 52 cabines Diamond 8 places pour la future installation Del Poble à Soldeu, en principauté d'Andorre. Or je ne trouve nulle part d'info sur cette "future installation" (ou alors faut vraiment que je revois mon yeux-tiste !). Merci à vous pour vos infos

Autant pour moi, je me suis fait avoir par l'image de synthèse qui montre une cabine assez large !

Yes, Abastumani TPH is a functioning one, it is just getting refurbished and visually renovated with the same design.
It is operational since 1986.
Before this TPH there was another ropeway on this location, it was monocable TPH with two small cabins from 1961 to 1985 then they removed it and installed this one.

Siguen avanzando las obras de esta nueva linea, pienso para el 2019 estén listas.





Pareciera estuviera listo completamente el sistema mecánico de esta estación motriz; faltarían los acabados de la obra civil...
